Outreach Advocacy
Safe Haven’s outreach services assist survivors who may not require shelter but still need vital support. All services are free and confidential.
Key services include:
- 1:1 Advocacy Sessions: Personalized guidance and support for survivors to create safety plans, set goals, and connect with resources.
- Legal Advocacy: Assistance with restraining orders, courtroom accompaniment, and navigating the legal system.
- Support Groups: Weekly gatherings focused on healing, empowerment, and education for both adults and youth.
- Transportation Assistance: Gas cards, bus passes, and transportation coordination to reduce barriers for rural survivors.
- Direct Victim Assistance: Help with essential needs such as obtaining vital records, covering emergency expenses, and securing housing.
