Children & Youth Support Group
Our Children’s Support Group is a safe place for children and teens to heal from the emotional and mental wounds that come from experiencing or witnessing domestic violence. We support these children and teens through counseling, group support, education and advocacy, and other activities.
Children and teens who experience emotional, physical, psychological, sexual, and verbal mistreatment are more likely to act out. Developing minds absorb social and environmental cues around them, leading children and teens to express emotions how they’ve perceived to be the normal way. We work with children and youth, teaching constructive and healthy ways to express thoughts and feelings. We help relieve the effects of trauma, strengthen the bonds with protective adults, and end the generational cycle of abuse.
**Pre-registration is required for all groups. Please call (715) 526-3421 to schedule an appointment with an advocate.**
