Community Outreach & Prevention

Safe Haven is deeply involved in community education and awareness efforts, including:

• School Presentations: Educational programs for K-12 students on topics such as healthy boundaries, teen dating violence, and sexual assault prevention.
• Awareness Campaigns: Events like “Paint the Park Purple” and “Take Back the Night” raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence.
• Resource Fairs and Trainings: Participation in community events and professional training sessions for law enforcement, educators, and healthcare providers.
• LACES Teen Group: Focused on Leadership, Awareness, Community, Encouragement, and Service, this group educates teens on healthy relationships and dating violence prevention.
